Jasper Geraets, better known as J-Forzz, grew up in a small town in the South of The Netherlands. He is playing several music instruments since he was 7 years old. At the age of 11, he became fascinated by the world of DJ-ing and joined several courses on DJ-skills at the Dutch DJ-School. The vinyl became his passion. Instead of the other modern DJ’s who are fond of the modern cd-players, he preferred his set of turntables. Soon afterwards J-Forzz became the youngest teacher at the Dutch DJ-school at the age of 13. Broadcasting corporation in the Netherlands (RTL) en Belgium (VRT) became aware of his talents and invited him several times to show his skills on TV. Scratching and beat juggling turned out to be no problem for him either. At the age of 14 he participated in the Dutch DMC Championships, where his opponents were not only twice as high, but also double-aged. He then got interested in the house scene and came up with his first serious house remixes and with several mash-ups. Nowadays J-Forzz is working his way up in the house scene. His unique sound of Dutch house, known as “the J-Forzz”, can be heard at local and international clubs.
