DJ firstborn has been mixing for 10 years. Playing out for 6, starting in small venues, working his way up to big nightclubs. Establishing his first residency in his local area gaining experience of how to entertain and hold a crowd until the end of the night! This local residency led to more work and valued recognition from his fellow dj's and gave him a good standing within the industry. He travelled around the country playing at various venues and was given a residency at one of Birminghams' biggest clubs, Oceana. Dj Firstborn has been working with luminar leisure and independent clubs and bar chains, adding his personality and fresh style to his set. In the last 3 years he has networked and become very popular within his arena, playing alongside dj's such as bbc radio 1xtra dj's rampage, the hit squad and g-child.

He has previously worked and presented radio shows on Birmingham's "Big City Radio 89.1" and Krissmusic4u making him a well known DJ in the Midlands.

In early 2009 he was approached by a producer from radio 1 and asked to produce a guest mix for the Mista Jam mixtape show which was aired on february 8th 2009, with this he received a lot of valuable feedback, contacts and airtime.
