i first started having an interest in d'jaying when i was seven. my uncle used to spin tunes on one deck resting on a big square piece of foam at house parties. i started my record collection when i was nine when i brought rappers delight from a sweet shop round the corner. time moved on and when i was seventeen i joined a rap crew called rebels in effect, and by now was playing parties for friends and family. we nearly signed a record deal with Island records 4 years later but it fell through so continued d'jaying in clubs and on community radio, with part of the rap group and another friend, from this we formed a crew called p.i.c and we now have the reputation as one of the premier dj crews in manchester although i presently have solo residencies in various nightclubs and still do the odd party or wedding.
