I was born in New York on 15 Nov 66, and I was around music all my life because, my mother loved to listen to all kinds of music, and she told me one time that, whenever music was played, I would dance, and it didn't matter the time of day or night. So if a track was played that I didn't like, then I would go somewhere else in the house or, I would just stop dancing until, I heard a track that I liked a lot. So I've started DJing in 1980 at the age of 13 years old, like most kids who start taking interest in things that they're interested in and, I remember going a party that I wasn't suppose to be because, I was too young to go but, it was worth it because, I saw the one, and only DJ Grand Wizard Theodore spinning but, when he put on a pair of handcuffs to do some tricks with doubles of the track "Good Times" by Chic, my mouth just dropped to the floor. I was so amazed that he was doing all these tricks and, that was when I decided to try this art of DJing. And as far as music goes, I've started out with playing rap music of course, and as I progressed, I've decided to mix other styles of music because, I've decided to challenge myself to blend many styles of music, and to show people that, anything is possible without the use of any digital equipment to make DJing "easier". So I just focus heavily on elevating my skills in all aspects of DJing, and about several years ago, while I played in this big music hall in Munich, Germany which is called Muffathalle, I was approached by someone who had a DJ booking agency at the time who was doing some tours, and offered me some supporting gigs and, I immediately accepted so, I've had some opportunities to open for some names like: Ice T, Public Enemy, DJ Kool, MC Lyte, Naughty by Nature, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Mele Mel, Loop Troop, DAS EFX and, Jeru the Damaja. And finally, sometime after that, I've also had the opportunities to tour with The Machine Show w/ Afrika Islam, Mele Mel, Donald D and Ice T as well. Also, I've had a DJ tour that was called "Live From New York Tour" with Mista Sinista, and finally, since I am a versatile DJ who can play in any event. I can be reached DAY or NIGHT, weekdays or weekends. My phone is always on, and I return all calls and emails immediately.
